The Glacier Ice Arena’s Learn To Skate program is perfect for anyone who is just getting started, and anyone who can already skate but wants to be better.

Our Professional instructors will help you and your child advance through the levels at a comfortable pace. All of our instructors are registered and approved through Learn To Skate USA, offering you the best possible approach when learning how to ice skate.

We have classes on Monday evenings from 5:00pm-5:30pm and Saturdays from 11:15am-11:45am. Both days are the same, simply register for whichever day fits your schedule best.

Young or old, we have a class that will meet your needs and get you on your way to being able to skate proficiently. You will soon be ready to move on to competitive Figure Skating or Ice Hockey if that’s what you are aiming for.

Each session is 8 weeks long.

  • Fall Session
    • Mondays at 5:00pm – 5:30pm  ~  October 14th – December 8th
      • No class November 25th
    • Saturdays at 11:15am – 11:45am  ~  October 19th – December 14th
      • No class November 30th
  • Winter Session:
    • Mondays at 5:00pm – 5:30pm  ~  January 6th – February 24th
    • Saturdays at 11:15am – 11:45am  ~  January 11th – February 29th
  • Spring Session:
    • Mondays at 5:00pm – 5:30pm  ~  March 2nd – April 27th
      • No class March 16th
    • Saturdays at 11:15am – 11:45am  ~  March 7th – May 2nd
      • No class March 21st

    I skated at your arena in early Sept and noticed an unpleasant odor throughout the arena. Has this issue been corrected? The odor smelled like old or burning rubber which was very unpleasant.
